Strawberry Cake

Ingredients

• 1 package strawberry gelatin
• 1 box white cake mix
• 3/4 cup vegetable oil
• 4 eggs (well beaten)
• 2 Tbs flour
• 1 package frozen strawberries
• (for icing) 1/2 cup butter
• (for icing) 1 box confectioners sugar

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350F
2. Dissolve gelatin in hot water. Set aside
3. Combine cake mix, oil, eggs, and flour. Blend well
4. Drain the strawberries well. Reserving juices for icing
5. Add the dissolved gelatin and the drained strawberries. Mix well
6. Spoon mixture in cake pans
7. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350F
8. For icing, cream butter until soft.
9. Sift the confectioners sugar, and gradually add into creamed butter.
10. Slowly add in strawberry juice from the draining step for a smooth icing
