Eggnog

Ingredients

• 6 eggs
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 qt milk
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 cup whipping cream
• bourbon or rum to taste

Instructions

1. In large sauce pan beat eggs and sugar together
2. Stir in milk
3. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and just coats metal spoon
4. Stir in vanilla
5. Cool quickly by setting pan pan in ice or water
6. Chill several hours
7. Fold in whipping cream
8. Add alcohol and serve
