Baked Spicy Chicken Sandwich
Yield: 4 to 5 servings
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken thighs, preferably boneless
- 1 (5.3oz) container of plain greek yogurt
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Freshly cracked pepper
- 1 1/2 - 2 tsp hot sauce
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
- 4 Tbs cooking oil
- Buns, greens, sauce to your liking for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425F; line a large baking sheet with parchment paper
- In a bowl, combine plain greek yogurt, garlic salt, paprika, cayenne pepper, freshly cracked pepper, and hot sauce together. Mix well
- In another bowl, dump in breadcrumbs
- Coat the chicken thighs with yogurt mixture, then dump them in the breadcrumbs. After evenly coated with breadcrumbs, put chicken thighs on the baking sheet
- Drizzle cooking oil over all chicken pieces evenly
- Bake for 18 minutes at 425F, then flip the chicken and bake for another 16 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked through
- Sandwich the baked chicken between buns. Serve it the way you like
